What better way to celebrate the Queen’s birthday than a romp around our very own Ascot. A fun event for all comers, you get to choose whether you want to run 2.5k or 5k. It’s a great chance to put all those family arguments to bed – who actually IS the fastest? Your own handicapping system might help even up the odds. Our winning prize was always breakfast in bed – no wonder I’m on the heftier side.
All family members are invited along with our registered runners to sign up for this race and the Sumner Running Club will cover entry costs. Information about race day can be found here with the only condition being you need to be 10 or over to run the 5k.
